Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in the United States seeks an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experience through precise vehicle repairs to its pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while aligning with the WOW operating standards and supporting speedy, high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include planning repairs, estimating costs, and ensuring all work meets the shop's KPIs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship recommended.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers using tools like cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers.
• Hammer dents and apply filler resins as needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts; repair glass and windshields as needed.
• Replace or repair interior parts as needed.
• Weld, fit parts, and repaint vehicles to factory or agreed standards.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect repaired vehicles.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
