Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to provide exceptional customer experiences through precise assessment and high-quality repair of vehicles, restoring them to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while collaborating with the team to meet KPIs and uphold the brand promise of speed and excellence.

Responsibilities include planning repairs, using cutting tools, realigning frames, replacing parts, welding and repainting to factory

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of vehicle body repair methods and tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while maintaining quality.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts.
• Weld and fit parts, and apply paint per factory specs.
• Inspect vehicles to ensure work is correct.
