Gerber Collision & Glass in Indianapolis is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver high-quality repairs and exceptional customer experiences by meticulously assessing and restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition.

You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, realign chassis, replace damaged parts, and ensure finish with factory-like paint; this role emphasizes speed, accuracy, and teamwork in a busy shop.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program completion or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.
• Thorough understanding of methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies.
• Thorough understanding of how to use tools required for the trade.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute auto body repairs per estimates.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass; repair interior parts as needed.
