Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver top-tier vehicle repairs and an exceptional customer experience. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, realigning chassis, replacing parts, and ensuring quality and speed while collaborating with teammates to meet KPIs.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of a technical program or a 3-year apprenticeship, with strong knowledge of body repair methods and tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship required.
• Ability to read job orders and work with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Ensure WOW plan execution.
• Plan repairs and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Repair dents, apply filler resins where needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair damage.
• Replace or repair damaged sections and glass as needed.
• Weld and fit parts; repaint vehicles to spec.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines.
• Inspect vehicles after repair for quality.
