Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician in Indiana to deliver exceptional customer experiences through precise assessment and repair of vehicles. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, plan necessary repairs, and prepare cost estimates while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

You will work with a team to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition, replace or repair parts, and finish jobs within labor guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Plan repairs and prepare customer cost estimates.
• Use tools to repair body sections and realign chassis/frames.
• Replace damaged parts and perform painting as needed.
• Inspect vehicles to ensure workmanship meets KPIs and quality standards.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
