Job summary

The Boyd Group is seeking an Auto Body Technician to provide meticulous assessment and high-quality vehicle repairs, restoring pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while upholding speed, quality and customer excellence as a Brand Ambassador.

Responsibilities include planning repairs with cost estimates, using cutting tools and grinders, and ensuring all work aligns with KPIs. Strong shop teamwork and safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship required.
• Ability to read job orders with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work with other repairers in an auto body shop.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Execute vehicle repairs ensuring adherence to WOW plan and KPIs.
• Disassemble, repair and reassemble vehicles.
• Repair dents, apply fillers, and realign chassis as needed.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts.
• Weld and repaint vehicles with factory-specified paint.
• Inspect vehicles after repair for quality and safety.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
