Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Knowledge of auto body repair methods and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare repair work and cost estimates.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Use tools like cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers, and pliers.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections, glass, interiors, and weld/fit parts as needed.
• Paint vehicles with factory-specified or equivalent finishes.
• Complete work orders within labor guidelines and verify repairs.
