Job summary

The Boyd Group is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences by precisely assessing and repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while helping the team achieve KPIs and uphold our Brand Ambassador standards.

Responsibilities include planning repairs, using tools to fix body damage, realigning frames, replacing parts, welding, painting, and inspecting completed work to meet quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.
• Thorough understanding of methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plans the repair work and prepares cost estimates for customers; uses tools to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Hammers out dents and applies filler resins when needed.
• Realigns car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Removes damaged sections and replaces them with new or aftermarket parts; repairs glass and interiors as needed.
• Welds and fits parts; prepares and repaints vehicles.
