Gerber Collision & Glass in Tulsa, OK is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience through precise assessment and quality repair of each vehicle to restore it to pre-accident condition. The role requires disassembly, repairs, and reassembly with a focus on speed, quality, and customer excellence.

You will work with cutting tools, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers, and welders to repair and recondition vehicles, while aligning with the team to meet KPIs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of technical school or a 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with little supervision.
• Thorough understanding of body repair methods and tools.
• Ability to collaborate with other repairers within the shop.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of the WOW plan.
• Plan repairs and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Repair dents with fillers when needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass as needed.
• Weld and fit parts; repaint vehicles with factory specs.
• Meet labor time guidelines and inspect work after repair.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
