Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician in Tulsa, OK. You will meticulously assess and repair vehicles to restore pre-accident condition, disassembling and reassembling parts while aligning with the WOW plan.

You will use cutting guns, plasma cutters, and other tools to repair structural and cosmetic damage, with a focus on speed, quality, and customer excellence. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, plus technical training or apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work with other repairers in a shop setting.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and work in a noisy environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles with precision.
• Realign chassis and frames to fix structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass, and repaint as needed.
• Ensure work orders are completed within labor time guidelines.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to guarantee quality.
