Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician to repair vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, and refinish vehicles while upholding our speed, quality, and customer-excellence standards.

Responsibilities include planning repairs, preparing estimates, realigning frames, replacing parts and glass, welding, and ensuring quality with safety checks. A high school diploma or equivalent, and a technical auto body program or apprenticeship are

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a technical auto body program or a 3-year apprenticeship is preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and follow repair procedures with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently to meet KPIs.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer estimates using hand tools and shop equipment.
• Repair dents, replace parts, and realign chassis as needed.
• Replace glass, weld, prime, and repaint as required.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and safety.
• Complete work orders within standard labor times and document results.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
