Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous repair and alignment of vehicles after collisions. You’ll assess damage, plan repairs, and execute high‑quality body work with a focus on speed, accuracy, and safety.

You will work closely with teammates to meet KPIs, restore vehicles to pre‑accident condition, and uphold our Brand Ambassador standards across all touchpoints.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of vehicle body repair methods and tools.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer cost estimates.
• Repair vehicle bodies using cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers and pliers.
• Dent repair, filler application and reshaping of damaged areas as needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to fix structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts.
• Repair glass, interior parts and repaint with factory or equivalent paint.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect finished vehicles.
• Attend to related duties as assigned.
