Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repair. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, upholding our brand standards for speed, quality, and customer excellence.

You will plan repair work, use tools to fix body damage, realign frames, replace parts, and repaint to factory specs. This role requires completing work within time guidelines and collaborating with the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plans the repair work and prepares cost estimates for customers using tools to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Hammers out dents and applies filler resins to repair minor damage.
• Realigns car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replaces damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts; replaces or repairs glass and windshields.
• Welds and attaches parts; prepares and repaints vehicles with factory-specified paint.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
