Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repair and restoration to pre-accident condition.

You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, aligning chassis, replacing parts, and painting to factory standards. Strong attention to detail and teamwork with shop staff are required for best-in-class results.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read and interpret repair orders.
• Strong tool proficiency and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, ensuring quality and safety.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates.
• Realign chassis and frames to fix structural damage.
• Replace or repair damaged parts and glass; repaint as needed.
• Weld or fit parts and ensure work orders meet labor guidelines.
