Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to meticulously assess and repair vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble, aligning chassis and frames to restore structural integrity while maintaining speed, quality, and customer excellence.

You’ll work with the team to meet KPI targets and uphold the brand promise. Responsibilities include planning repairs, estimating costs, using specialized tools, welding, repainting, and inspecting

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts; repair glass and interior parts as needed.
• Weld and fit parts; repaint vehicles to factory specifications or equivalent.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality and safety.
