Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to expertly assess and repair vehicles to pre-accident condition, emphasizing speed, quality, and customer excellence. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while collaborating with the team to meet KPIs and uphold the brand promise.

Responsibilities include planning repairs, preparing estimates, using cutting tools and welders, realigning chassis, replacing parts, and ensuring work orders stay within labor guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required and technical training preferred.
• Completion of technical school or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently.
• Plan and prepare repair work and estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, realign, and reassemble vehicles.
• Replace damaged sections with parts and repair glass as needed.
• Weld, fit, and repaint vehicles per standards.
• Meet labor time guidelines and inspect work for quality.
