Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Tucker, GA seeks an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous repair of vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, using industry tools to ensure speed, quality and customer excellence.

Work alongside a team to plan repairs, realign chassis, replace parts and glass, and paint to factory specs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Strong understanding of auto body repair methods and tools.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames; replace parts and glass as needed.
• Weld, paint, and finish vehicles per factory specs.
• Ensure work orders meet labor time guidelines and inspect finished work.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
