Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition with meticulous repair work and customer-focused service. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, align frames, and ensure repairs meet quality standards as part of a collaborative team.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with technical training or apprenticeship preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Remove damaged sections and replace with new or aftermarket parts.
• Weld and fit parts; prepare and repaint vehicles to factory specs or equivalent.
• Ensure repairs meet hourly labour time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
