Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repairs to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, collaborating with teammates to meet KPIs and uphold the brand promise.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical training or an apprenticeship. You’ll work in a fast-paced shop, using cutting guns, plasma cutters, and other tools to restore vehicles

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program completion or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret job orders with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan consistently.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer estimates; use various tools to repair vehicles.
• Hammer dents, apply filler resins, realign chassis and frames as needed.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts; repair glass and interior parts.
• Weld, assemble, and repaint vehicles to factory specs; complete work within labor guidelines.
• Inspect completed work to ensure accuracy and quality; perform additional duties as assigned.
