Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repair. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, aligning with team KPIs and acting as a Brand Ambassador for The Boyd Group.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of a technical program or a 3-year apprenticeship. The role requires safe work practices in a noisy shop with various tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Tech program completion or a 3-year auto body apprenticeship.
• Ability to read job orders and work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer estimates.
• Repair body damage using tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers, and pliers.
• Realign chassis and frames to fix structural damage.
• Replace damaged parts and glass; repaint as needed.
• Ensure work orders meet labor time guidelines and inspect finished vehicles.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
