Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience through meticulous assessment and high-quality repairs, restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble cars, working with a team to meet KPIs and uphold our brand promise of speed, quality, and customer excellence.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical training or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required. Technical school program OR 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair is preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Thorough understanding of methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies and use required tools.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Repair vehicle bodies using cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers.
• Repair dents, skim with filler resins when needed, and realign chassis and frames.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts and repair glass, interior components.
• Prepare and repaint vehicles to factory specifications or equivalent.
