Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to provide meticulous vehicle repair and restore customers to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while maintaining speed, quality, and customer excellence as part of a high-performing team.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical training or apprenticeship. You will work in a busy shop, use body-shop tools, and ensure safe operations with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school or 3-year apprenticeship required.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare customer cost estimates.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles.
• Repair dents and align chassis when possible; apply filler resins as needed.
• Replace damaged sections and glass; weld and repaint as required.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure workmanship quality.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines.
