Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to assess and repair vehicles to pre-accident condition, ensuring fast, high-quality service. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, replace parts and glass, weld and repaint, while coordinating with teammates to meet KPIs and customer expectations.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical training or apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship as auto body repairer preferred.
• Able to read and interpret job orders with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with shop tools and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare customer cost estimates.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Replace damaged sections and windshields; repair interior parts as needed.
• Weld and fit parts; repaint vehicles to factory specs.
• Ensure repairs meet KPIs and quality standards.
