Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician to provide exceptional customer experience by meticulously assessing and repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while supporting the team in meeting speed, quality, and customer-excellence goals.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent (or technical schooling/apprenticeship), ability to read job orders, and safe operation of repair tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical training or apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret job orders with minimal supervision.
• Strong teamwork and safety-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Plans the repair work and prepares cost estimates for customers.
• Disassembles, repairs, and reassembles vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Replaces damaged sections and repairs glass, interiors, and paint as needed.
• Welds, fits parts, and ensures work meets KPIs and quality standards.
• Inspects completed work and adheres to safety and workflow guidelines.
