Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience through meticulous assessment and high-quality repairs, restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will help achieve KPIs and act as a Brand Ambassador for The Boyd Group.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and may involve completing a tech program or a 3-year apprenticeship. Strong tool skills and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.

Responsibilities

• Execute the WOW operating plan consistently.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Repair dents using filler resins when needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace or repair damaged sections and glass as needed.
• Weld and fit parts, and repaint vehicles per factory specs.
