Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous assessment and quality repair of vehicles, restoring them to pre-accident condition. You’ll work with a team to meet KPIs and act as a Brand Ambassador for The Boyd Group.

Responsibilities include planning repairs, providing cost estimates, using repair tools, realigning chassis, replacing parts, and ensuring quality through final inspections.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school completion or a 3-year apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Use cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers and pliers to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins when needed to repair damage.
• Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts.
• Replace or repair glass, interior parts, and related components.
• Weld and fit parts into place and prepare and repaint vehicles.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect repaired vehicles.
