Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in the United States seeks an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repair. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, and realign bodies while upholding speed, quality, and customer excellence as core goals.

You’ll work with a team to meet KPIs and serve as a Brand Ambassador for The Boyd Group. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical training or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan consistently.
• Plan repair work and prepare customer estimates using various tools.
• Repair dents, apply filler resins, and realign chassis or frames.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts; repair glass as needed.
• Weld and fit parts; prepaint vehicles per factory specs or equivalent.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines; inspect vehicles after repair.
