Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Racine, WI, is seeking an Auto Body Technician to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition with precision and care. You'll thoroughly disassemble, repair, and reassemble bodies while collaborating with teammates to hit KPIs and deliver WOW customer service.

The role uses cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers, and other tools; realigns chassis, replaces parts and glass, prepares and repaints, and inspects finished work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan and scope repair work, including cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Use tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers, and pliers.
• Realign chassis and frames, replace damaged parts and glass.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure workmanship.
