Gerber Collision & Glass in Wisconsin is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repairs and quality finishes. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while aligning with the WOW plan and company standards.

The role emphasizes cost estimation, precise metalwork, paint prep, and safety in a busy shop environment. A strong technical background and teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan consistently.
• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers using tools like cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers and pliers.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins when needed; realign chassis and frames.
• Remove damaged sections and replace with new or aftermarket parts; repair glass and interior components.
• Welds and attaches parts; preps and repaints to factory specs or equivalents.
• Aim to complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
