Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician to provide top-tier customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repair. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, upholding speed, quality and customer excellence as part of a dedicated team.

The role requires a high school diploma or technical training, ability to read orders, and proficiency with body repair tools. Expect a flat-rate compensation structure and comprehensive company benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a technical program or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read repair orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently and safely.
• Plan repairs and prepare customer cost estimates.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins when needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to fix structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts; handle glass as required.
• Weld and fit parts; prep and repaint to factory specs.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect for quality.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
