Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Cincinnati is seeking an Auto Body Technician to assess and repair vehicles to pre-accident condition, disassemble and reassemble components, and uphold speed, quality and customer-excellence standards. The role collaborates with a team to deliver top-tier collision and glass services.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a technical school program or apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Plan repairs and prepare cost estimates for customers; use appropriate tools to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins where needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections; repair glass and windshields as needed.
• Weld and attach parts; paint vehicles with factory-specified or equivalent paint.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines; inspect vehicles after repair.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
