Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous repair of vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble parts while upholding speed, quality and customer excellence in a busy shop environment.

Working with our WOW standards, you plan repairs, prepare cost estimates, and use tools like cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers and pliers to restore vehicles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare customer cost estimates.
• Disassemble, repair and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Use tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers and pliers to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Realign chassis and frames to restore structural integrity.
• Replace damaged or aftermarket parts and rebuild interiors as needed.
• Weld and fit parts, repaint vehicles to factory specifications or approved finishes.
