Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Fresno, CA is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer service through precise vehicle assessments and high-quality repairs to restore pre-accident condition.

You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, contributing to speed, quality, and customer excellence across the shop. A strong focus on safety and accuracy is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan consistently.
• Plan repairs and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Repair vehicle bodies using cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, and hand tools.
• Realign chassis and frames to fix structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts.
• Replace or repair glass and interior parts as needed.
• Weld and fit parts; paint vehicles per factory specs or equivalents.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect finished work.
