Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer service through precise vehicle repair. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, uphold KPIs, and act as a Brand Ambassador for The Boyd Group.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and typically a 3-year apprenticeship or technical training. Strong tool knowledge and teamwork are essential for success in this shop.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship required.
• Ability to read job orders with minimal supervision.

Responsabilités

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plans the repair work and prepares cost estimates for customers.
• Uses cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers and pliers to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Realigns car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Removes damaged sections and replaces with new or aftermarket parts.
• Replaces or repairs glass, windshields and interior parts as needed.
• Welds and fits parts; preps and repaints vehicles to factory specs or equivalent.
• Completes work orders within labor time guidelines and inspects vehicles after repair.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
