Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous assessment and high-quality vehicle repairs. You will work with the team to ensure speed, quality, and customer excellence in every touchpoint.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent with a technical program or apprenticeship in auto body repair. You’ll operate a range of tools and collaborate with others to meet KPIs and be a Brand Ambassador for The Boyd

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure WOW plan is executed consistently.
Plan repair work and prepare customer cost estimates.
Use tools like cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers and pliers to repair sections of a vehicle.
Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts; repair glass and windshields as needed.
Weld and fit parts; prepare and repaint vehicles to spec.
Aim to complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles post-repair.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
