Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass seeks an Auto Body Technician to assess and repair vehicles to pre-accident condition, disassemble and reassemble components, and uphold speed, quality, and customer excellence. You will align with team KPIs and act as a Brand Ambassador for The Boyd Group.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of a technical program or apprenticeship. Experience with body repair tools and a strong commitment to safety and accuracy is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.
• Ability to read job orders and work with little supervision.
• Ability to work with other repairers within an auto body shop.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Repair and replace body components and glass as needed.
• Weld and repaint vehicles with factory-specified finishes.
• Ensure work meets labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
