Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to assess and repair vehicles to pre-accident condition, ensuring quality and speed in every restoration. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble cars, collaborating with others to meet KPIs and uphold the brand promise as a Boyd Group ambassador.

The role requires a HS diploma or technical training and hands-on use of metal-working tools, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Use tools to repair vehicle sections.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler as needed.
• Realign chassis and replace damaged sections.
• Replace or repair glass, interior parts as needed.
• Weld and fit parts, prep and repaint vehicles.
• Complete work orders within labor guidelines.
• Inspect vehicles to ensure quality of repair.
