Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional service by accurately assessing and repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, adhering to our speed, quality, and customer-excellence commitments.

You will work with a team to meet KPI goals and act as a Brand Ambassador for The Boyd Group, with a focus on safety and high-quality results in a fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently.
• Plan repairs and prepare cost estimates; use various tools to repair the vehicle.
• Hammer out dents and apply filler resins when needed.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and windshields; repair interiors.
• Weld and fit parts; repaint vehicles as specified.
• Aim to complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect results.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
