Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to repair vehicles to pre-accident condition with precision and care. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, weld, and repaint using industry-standard methods, while maintaining quality and speed in a busy shop.

The role requires reading job orders, collaborating with teammates, and staying within labor time guidelines. A strong foundation in tool use and safety is essential for daily success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Must be able to read job orders and work with little supervision.
• Strong understanding of repair tools and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Plan the necessary repairs and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis and replace damaged sections with parts as needed.
• Weld, paint, and inspect vehicles to ensure quality repairs.
• Ensure work orders meet labor time guidelines and accuracy.
