Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to inspect, repair, and restore vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, realign frames, replace parts, and ensure repairs meet quality and speed targets.

This role requires hands-on use of cutting tools, plasma cutters, welders, and painting prep in a busy collision repair environment. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical school or a 3-year

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical schooling or a 3-year apprenticeship preferred.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Thorough understanding of vehicle body repair methods and tools.

Responsibilities

• Disassembles, repairs, and reassembles vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Realigns chassis/frames and replaces damaged sections with new parts.
• Replaces or repairs glass, interior parts, and performs painting prep.
• Ensures work orders meet labor time guidelines and inspects completed work.
