Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass seeks an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repair, restoring cars to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while upholding speed, quality, and customer excellence across the team.

Responsibilities include planning repairs, preparing estimates, and ensuring work meets labor time guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Completion of a technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.
• Thorough understanding of auto body repair methods and tools.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently to ensure quality service.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Repair vehicle sections using cutting guns, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers, and pliers.
• Realign chassis and frames to fix structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality.
