Gerber Collision & Glass in Michigan is seeking an Auto Body Technician to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition with precision, speed, and customer‑focused service. You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, weld, replace panels and glass, and repaint vehicles using factory specifications while adhering to safety and quality KPIs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of technical school or a 3-year apprenticeship is required.
• Ability to read job orders and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle sections using appropriate tools.
• Hammer out dents; Weld, replace parts; Realign chassis and frames.
• Replace glass and interior components; repaint to factory specs.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect repairs.
