Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass seeks an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience by thoroughly assessing and repairing vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while contributing to our speed, quality and customer excellence.

Responsibilities include realigning chassis, replacing damaged parts, welding and repainting to factory specs, and meeting KPIs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of technical school program or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Responsibilities

• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates.
• Use cutting tools, plasma cutters, jacks, hammers and pliers to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass or interior parts as needed.
• Weld and repaint vehicles to factory specs or approved equivalents.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect repairs for quality.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
