Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repair and precise craftsmanship. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while supporting the company’s speed, quality, and service promises.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or equivalent, with either technical school or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers using the necessary tools.
• Repair vehicle bodies, realign chassis and frames, and replace or repair parts including glass and interior components.
• Weld and fit parts, sand, paint, and ensure work adheres to quality standards.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
