Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in the United States seeks an Auto Body Technician to provide meticulous assessment and repair of vehicles, restoring them to pre-accident condition while upholding speed, quality and customer excellence.

You will disassemble, repair, reassemble, and align chassis, replace parts, weld, paint, and inspect for accuracy, working closely with teammates to meet KPIs and uphold the WOW operating standard.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.

Responsibilities

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plans the repair work and prepares cost estimates for customers; uses tools to repair sections of a vehicle.
• Realigns car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Removes damaged sections and replaces with parts; repairs glass and windshields as needed.
• Replaces or repairs interior parts; wets and paints vehicles.
• Ensures work orders meet labor time guidelines and inspects vehicles post-repair.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
