Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass seeks an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through precise assessment and quality repairs, restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble cars while aiming for speed, quality, and customer excellence.

Technical school program completion or a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.

Responsibilities

Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
Use tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers to repair sections of a vehicle.
Hammer out dents and apply fillers as needed to repair body damage.
Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
Replace damaged sections with new or aftermarket parts; repair glass and windshields.
