Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous vehicle repair to pre-accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble cars, ensuring speed, quality, and customer excellence in alignment with team KPIs and brand standards.

Required: high school diploma or equivalent, plus technical schooling or a 3-year apprenticeship. Benefits include health insurance, PTO, holidays, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship completed preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret job orders with minimal supervision.
• Thorough understanding of vehicle body repair methods and procedures.
• Proficiency with shop tools and equipment used in auto body repair.

Responsibilities

• Execute WOW plan consistently.
• Plan repairs and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to pre-accident condition.
• Realign chassis/frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and glass; repair interior parts as needed.
• Weld and fit parts; apply paint per factory specs or approved equivalents.
• Complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect finished work.
