Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver an exceptional customer experience through meticulous assessment and high‑quality repair of each vehicle to restore it to pre‑accident condition. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles while upholding the company’s standards of speed, quality, and customer excellence.

You will work with other repairers in the shop, read job orders, plan repairs, and ensure work is completed within labor time guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical school program or 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Plan and execute repairs with tools such as cutting guns and plasma cutters.
• Realign chassis and replace damaged sections or parts as needed.
• Weld and fit parts, repaint vehicles to factory specifications.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and safety.
