Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician to deliver exceptional customer experiences through meticulous repair and quality workmanship. You will disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles, using a range of tools to restore cars to pre-accident condition while upholding the brand promise of speed, quality, and customer excellence.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with technical training or apprenticeship preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Successful completion of technical school program OR a 3-year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.
• Thorough understanding of methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair and reassemble vehicles to restore pre-accident condition.
• Use tools to repair sections of a vehicle and replace glass/parts.
• Realign car chassis to repair structural damage.
• Inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality and safety.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
