Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Auto Body Technician in Oklahoma City. You will assess and repair vehicles to pre-accident condition, disassembling, repairing, and reassembling parts with attention to speed and quality.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and either technical training or a 3-year apprenticeship in auto body repair. You will work safely in a busy shop, aiming for excellent customer experience and KPI targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical school program or a 3-year auto body apprenticeship.
• Ability to read job orders and work with very little supervision.
• Ability to work with other repairers within an auto body shop.
• Thorough understanding of methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies.

Responsibilities

• Plan the repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles per standards.
• Realign chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Replace damaged sections and windshields; repaint as needed.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and KPIs; complete work orders on time.
